Rev. Paul Ward is the
Director of Our Lady's Choral Society.
Paul is a singing member of the choir
since 1985 and celebrated his silver jubilee
this year, being presented with a bound
copy of Handel's Messiah score. He was
appointed Director in 2005 and this year
was re-appointed for a further five years.
As Director Paul is responsible
for the administration and organisation
of OLCS concerts and events which includes
booking of artists and venues and liaising
with other organisations and groups (e.g.
RTE) regarding joint ventures. He also
has a strong sense of pastoral care for
the members.
He considers his membership of the choir and the singing of a vast OLCS repertoire with teacher Proinnsías Ó Duinn to be a wonderful education in musical art.
